Looking for cheap exhaust set-up with no drone!
I'd like something with a deeper and louder tone but with no drone! I also don't want to be spending 1k+ on this! I own a 2012 G37 Sedan!
I like the sound of straight pipe but I imagine the drone is beyond crazy!
I've heard the setup of HKS knockoffs (what's best knockoff brand btw?) With magnaflow X Pipe which I think sounds good! With this setup should I remove the cat/resonator or would that cause drone? This is my daily so I want a nice deep loud sound that is quiet in the cabin to keep the wife happy and myself happy on the long trips haha! This is my #1 priority is to keep the drone to as little as possible. Don't want the wife to kill me lol. Thanks for any information!

Muffler delete itself didn't sound too pleasing to me. Was looking for something deeper and louder. I'd love straight pipe but I'd imagine drone is crazy! I'll still consider a muffler delete though if there is no drone on cruising speeds especially like 45+ or 60+! Maybe an x pipe with muffler delete will help sound while still not having drone?

Might contact VQ Vic about this setup, might not be too crazy $$$ if you use the OEM cats and have an affordable muffler shop in your area.

Might contact VQ Vic about this setup, might not be too crazy $$$ if you use the OEM cats and have an affordable muffler shop in your area.
