Looking for a good bolt on intake for my G37 sedan. Need some suggestions, ideas and where to buy?

Stillen Gen 3 or Admin Tuning
You can buy them from vendors on here
Used ones come up every once in a while as well for a better deal

I have the Takeda CAI (the long one that extends into the front bumper; long tube?). I honestly don't know the performance difference between long tube and short ram. All I know is that it takes a little bit more effort to install the long-tube than the short ram intakes, but there's just something about the longer piping and the filters peeking through the grill that makes me smile. I got mine from Amazon because I had Amazon Prime and I wanted it ASAP. You can try out JM Auto Racing. They always have good pricing for performance parts for our Gs.

I have a 2013 37x with Stillen Gen3 CAI. This was my first mod paired with the stock exhaust, it enhanced the stock exhaust a tad more and gave it better breathing. Now I have a stillen catback exhaust and those two go hand in hand and perform amazingly! Stillen is more about keeping the stock sound (slight enhancements during normal driving) but it will really stand out when push for more throttle and acceleration.

Would offer to sell you mine. Had it about a year, and the only reason I would sell would be to get a longtube CAI. It's the R2C Black Hex Series intake with dry filters and the nickel-plated finish. Makes a great noise and I love the finish. Shoot me a PM if you're interested, here's a pic:

I went with the Injen Short Ram intakes. So far I'm digging them. Sound great.

I'm looking into getting one as well, and Stillen seems like a nice choice, depending on what all you're looking to get out of a cold air intake.

I have the Stillen Gen 3 on my car. Not the best fitment but it gets the job done. Admin Tuning seems really nice though. From what I know, the piping is larger than others so you have the potential to get more power out of them.

Avoid stillen. Terrible fitment. Used mine for a month and removed as it was starting to rub a hole in piping. They were severley scratched i was as careful as i could be. Plus you habe to cut the radiator support. Go takeda save a headache. I used lota of hose to try to protect the piping it would still rub and fall out.

You still have to cut the radiator support with the Takeda, unless you want to totally compress the elbow and massively distort airflow.

The radiator support is plastic, and easy to enlarge.

I'd get whatever long tube you could get the best price on. I got the Takeda for 400 shipped, which was way lower than the Stillen.
