Yesterday installed AP y-pipe and now I have little rasp going on around 3k rpms under load... And I had done month ago BERKS HFC. Rest of my exhaust is stock.

Question is: If i will add Tanabe mid pipe will it reduce rasp? Will be there more drone?

Hars to say. VQ are notorious for rasp when adding hfc and TP. Gotta find the right balance. When piecing systems together youll never really know. Find a catback you like then listen to youtube of it WITH HFC to see if you can tell.

 

But in general speaking, who had any experience Tanabe mid pipe, was there noticeable drone increase? I just don want to spend $400+ and discover, that i have more rasp and added more drone then before.
