Intake Breather hose

I've been driving my 2012 sedan w/ k&N for about 2 months now, but during my installation, I had hard time on the hoses that connects with the engine, so instead of using the one that came with intake, I used the OEM. (Driver's side is longer than the one on passenger...?).

Would that would bottleneck the intake? Would I need to buy a Aftermarket hose (like Z1 Silicone Breather hose).

Not sure how this would bottle neck the intake...Not sure what will be said in regards to it but my solution was.....Dishwasher Hose.

I went full redneck here and went out to Home Depot and got 8-10 Ft for about 8-10 dollars. Tubing is Rubber with Polyester reinforcement and can withstand 80 PSI. So far, I've felt the tubing to check for heat since that was my main concern. So far so good. Tubing has been holding up nicely without any signs of wear.
