Takeda long tube or stillen gen 3?

 

Boils down to personal preference (aesthetics) & cost really. The difference in note and gains will be negligible.

 

I like the Takeda, being that there is one connected filter, it looks more stable. I saw on youtube, where someone got installed without removing the bumper. I don't think that either have an Intake Bi-pass valve, which would be good if you are going in really bad weather. The design does make it harder to take on water though.

 

This^^^ That single filter even w/ the splash shield installed, just looks so proper, and if you were to go w/ a mesh or emblem-free grill that intake would really "pop" back there. As far as performance and sound, would be pretty much a coin flip.

Stillen Gen 3 FTW

 

Can't really go wrong either way unless you live in a place w/ a lot of flooding

 

im leaning more towards the takeda, by any chance do you guys know where I can get it for the cheapest? And the splash shield, how effective is it? I live in the north east and we don't get too much rain. Just all four season. Is it too much of a risk to get the long tubes?

 

For S. GEN 3, the shield is not a splash protector, it's to regulate the air flow(info from Stillen). No shield on mine, since the summer, with no rain issues.
