Searched around the forum but didn't find much on this topic. I remember reading a thread on here where someone fabbed up a fully custom long-tube intake system and got good numbers out of it.

I'm curious as to how difficult it would be to: A- buy some extra tubing, B- buy a couple couplers, and C- getting a mounting bracket from the Takeda long-tube system-- to do this myself DIY?

Would selling it, and using the funds to purchase an already manufactured long-tube system be a smarter move?
