R2C Intake Questions - Post Install

I've had my R2C intakes installed for about 4 months so far, and enjoy them greatly BUT I have noticed some issues and was wondering if anyone had solutions:

1. One of my R2C intakes vibrates at startup in the morning when the engine is cold and at 2000 RPM when there is lots of vibration. Is there a way to fix this problem? It's noisy and sounds terrible.

2. Apparently the hood liner doesn't clear the R2C intakes completely when the hood is closed as there is now damaged and torn liner material in the areas where it touches the MAF sensors. Can I remove the hood liner, or is there another solution to fix this problem?

I have the R2C installed and don't have either issue. To fix the first one tighten the screws on top that hold it to the throttle body as hard as you can, until the screwdriver is slipping off because it can't turn. Which is funny because I only have those on, I don't have the bolts in that bolt to the sides. To fix the second one, adjust the piping down ever so slightly before you tighten the screws on top and it will fix that issue. You should not remove the hood liner as it holds heat down which will keep your painting from burning away given it will take a couple years probably, maybe less. If anything try spinning the hood spacer a little and make the hood lift up.

Yup I agree. They just need to be adjusted. I know this because I had to adjust several times during my install so that they would not hit. Make sure those brackets are good and secure, don't need that intake rubbing on the AC lines.
