about to install Takeda CAI--- need advise

about to install Takeda CAI--- need advise


I am about to install my takeda CAI, but not sure if I can disconnect this sensor on the both side of the OEM intake will it cause check engine light If I disconnect it?

maybe prob not. but it install the takeda intake you will have to unplug/ remove the whole sensor. so... just do it and just clear the code if you get one.

disconnect the negative battery first, shouldn't throw any codes

Thx for all the reply, I read it on the forum somewhere what if I disconnect the MAF sensor will cause CEL. Just worry about that.
anybody done it without disconnect the negative battery cable?

Yeah on my other cars... just make sure you dont start the car or power the car on until you are done.

Yes I have on tons of cars and when cleaning the sensors its different to unplug while car is on or running

If the cars off they're not reading anything. Just unplug and install in the new pipes. No big deal.
