Anybody who's wanted to keep there stock air box's ever cut out the four inch hole and put in maybe a 6 inch aero port? Something like this?

That will do absolutely nothing whatsoever to increase the performance of your car. Zilch. Zero.

There was a guy on the forum some time back that drilled holes in everything including his air intake box.

 

^ but think of the weight reduction!

 

The silencers



I removed the silencers and added some holes to the airbox and it just added sound and dirt either stick with K&N filters and maybe remove the silencers, switch to a CAI, or do DIY cone filter but not worth anything adding more holes.

 

thats old skoo rice mod. i remember in the 90s that was the in thing to try and do
