ART pipes fitted for AWD?

So I have an AWD G37. I have had the Motordyne catback welded to fit for my vehicle. I have that paired with a Berks HFC. Now I've read that people have modded the ART pipes to fit the AWD application, but then I've read comments like this:" i spoke with a master welder...they said because the art pipes are rolled it would most likely crack at some point under pressureif i were to move it and reweld it."

Do you think this is true, or was that false info given by a "master welder"? I obviously don't want to go though the hassle and potentially ruin the product (or waste money of course).
