Just got muffler delete, Anyone have experience using Resonated tips to cancel out Drone/Noise under load?

While this is a better place than the sedan forum for your question, it's poor BBS etiquette to post a question in multiple forums. It leads to duplicated effort and confusion.

 

I had horrendous drone as well when I did a muffler delete on my sedan and wondered if I could have done the same added resonators where the mufflers were taken out to get rid of the drone.

 

So I installed the resonated Tips and they worked really well, made the exhaust note very smooth.
Drone and low rpm, under-load noise seems to have been decreased by 40% or so. But Sound at WOT somehow seems to be louder.

 

I just purchased the same tips and will be installing them next week. Considering that they tone down the sounds and reduce drone, would you consider removing the resonators as well or it sounds good enough with that setup? Any sound clip ? Thanks!
