Just installed invidia gemini cat-back
Friday I installed the invidia gemini cat-back exhaust. Fairly easy to install, the hardest part was getting the old muffler off and new one on.
Previously I had axle-back exhaust and I liked the sound. The new sound is quieter at idle, but louder after about 1.5k rpms. The sound is overall higher in frequency, which I didn't expect. I don't think I like the new sound as much as before. Inside with the windows up, it sounds fine though.
Anywho.. is there anyway to easily tell if I have an exhaust leak anywhere? I know I have heard of other people with this problem. I put all the bolts and nuts on pretty tight, but you never know.
Also do I need to reset the ECU, or will it figure it out after a while?

Yes, always reset the ecu.
Usually it's pretty obvious if there's a leak, you'll hear more of a "putter" or "gasp" in spot.
You can add hfcs on to change the sound, plus make some gains out of it.

Definitely reset the ECU and as both guys before me stated a leak in your exhaust would seem pretty obvious just by the sound. If you're still confused or worried if you have a leak just upload a video of it for us to hear.

idk if it works the same in the G37 but for the first 250-500 miles, keep your shifting above 4k and you'll set the ecu to keep that performance system rather than trying to granny it...or maybe I'm wrong
Yeah, no way dude..^^^ There's practically no truth to the "drive fast and it'll run better" myth. The ECU is constantly learning and adjusting itself. It may drive that way for a day but it absolutely does NOT stay that way for any amount of time. That's a crazy claim, cant believe people keep selling this idea. With this logic I could say; If I took my car to the track last season and never reset the ECU, my car would be shifting hard and late still to this day. Or, if I put 87 in my car ONCE, it would never tune itself back for 93 octane... C'mon guys...
