Sedan exhaust

Have been considering something to give my sedan a little more rumble, akin to the volume you get with thr coupe. Tanabe is a contender. Wondering if anyone has seen these Walker mufflers?http://www.carid.com/2009-infiniti-g37-exhaust-parts/walker-muffler-18161316.html?gclid=Cj0KEQjwoYi4BRDF_PHHu6rI7NMBEi QAKZ-JuJPe9QrY81N89aF6Pi_vJT_RV_EGvJo_LbQSbu6Kep0aApjf8 P8HAQ
The other option is to just swap out the muffler for a set of flowmaster, magnaflow, etc. I do not want loud.
Advice?

I bet the magnaflow/flowmaster muffler will be louder than the tanabe from hearing stuff on youtube. If you want subtle , check out the private classifieds, there is a user selling the tanabe for $325

I believe there is a couple of, specific, exhaust threads for the sedan. Oh and don't do a muffler delete.

You may also want to ask these kinds of questions to the guys on the "sedan chat thread".

Why do I not want to do a delete. I have heard them there doesn't seem to be a drawback.

For 1 it's illegal in most states and that's a low budget way of doing things.

Not in indy. Funny thing is that you can BUY a CB and it sound like crap or rice but this is nearly free. I may just get a J2 - cheap.

well if you go cheap then your CB will sound like crap but the majority of the quality CB out there for the sedan sound great and I've yet to hear a CB for the sedan that sounds like rice. Heck even the Top Speed one sounds okay.

You knock yourself out with your muffler deletes just remember that a muffler delete isn't a mod

Considering the goof ball joint that Nissan uses to join the muffler pipe to the "Y" pipe, it costs money to delete the muffler. Ergo, a "mod".

My M3 didn't have a muffler, it was a trailer queen, I happen to like the sound, my preference.
J2 has the same sound as most for the money. Cost doesn't mean that it will sound better. Meisterhaus I think sound like a whistle tip or tin can at high RPM. But hey, that's me bro!
I'm trying to not act like a snob here.

FWIW, I could give a crap what you think is a "mod". Also said "I may".

Did this site exist in 2008/9? The Texas Z Club had an annual convention in Houston and they rented Motorsports Ranch Houston for their track day. The Miata club was notified to help fill the grid and I signed up. There was one G coupe that had an unholy loud exhaust, race car loud, the only one to be heard from any spot on the track. Anybody know that car? Was that the Meisterschaft? The car was driven to the track so I assume it wasn't open pipe.
