I think they all "produce" about the same amount of hp/torque, so it's more about the looks and sounds.

From a quick search, this is what I found for the more popular intakes:
Takeda: 19 hp / 12 tq
Stillen: 18.5 hp
R2C: 18 hp

Has anyone taken a look at z1 intake. I emailed John and they would do a group buy on their kit but they wouldn't ship until all the kits are paid for. It's just another option. I'm still waiting in a price.

The top two are true cold air intakes as is the Z1 mentioned below, the R2C is a short ram. The true cold air setups produce a few more ponies. If you go by what the manufacturers claim (not saying you did) the numbers almost always seem higher than what guys are getting at the dynos.

BigMike, that Z intake is a good option, would be good to get a ballpartk price to see what direction this GB thread will go.
Here's the info on that one~

Very interested, contingent on price and who I'll be buying from (i.e. NOT interested in sending money to random stranger)

I'm all for the group buy, I want a true cold air setup, if Z1 is an option and pricing is good then great.

Is there a problem posting the group buy price in the thread for everyone to see and discuss or is this a PM affair?

Ah got it, is there a group buy thread or dead line or are you just taking payments and shipping as they are received?
