Will I Lose My Job With RHFC?

Hey guys. With my Christmas bonus coming in at the end of the month I'll be taking the plunge on my first set of wheels. However, like any other guy who cares about his car and has too much disposable income, I'm already looking towards my next mod after that.

Currently running the FI stainless round catback w/ 18" resonators. I went with this setup because my car is a daily and I'm in sales; which means I'm constantly in the car and sometimes have to take colleagues with me on sales calls. I didn't want anything too loud that would come off as unprofessional. So, my question is, if I were to spring for the FI RHFC to pick up some more power, just how much louder will the car get, and will it worsen the drone at all? I've ruled out ART pipes since I know they'd be even louder and I'd like to stay legal. I've got the mod bug, but if it affects my career negatively I'll manage to fight it off.

I know this is kind of subjective, but any input would be great. Thanks!

Also, hope you guys had a chance to see Star Wars

The RHFCs should check off all the boxes, decent gains, a bit more sound but no added rasp & drone, CARB legal, and won't offend your clients.
Merry Christmas to you

add a Motordyne resonated XYZ pipe for an even warmer note in case the RHFCs are still more volume than you would like. Can get the straight pipe module and quickly change it out when you want to add a brighter sound back

CARB Legal? Respectfully, No, only factory cats are carb legal.
There are NO aftermarket cats exempt on the CARB page (for Infiniti), except for a universal model for M series.

FI's website states, not legal for highway use in California (Not CARB legal)

I have the fast intentions traditional catback with the 18 inch resonators. So my mufflers are one step quieter than yours. This is paired with their resonated high flow cats. This is essentially their quietest setup. I love the sound. There is no rasp or drone. I can drive at any speed on the highway with a silent cabin. But it sounds glorious when I step on it or driving at low speeds. I had to send the cats to FI for repair and I ran the cat back with the OEM cats. This set up essentially sounded stock. So you will notice a big volume increase when you switch out the cats.

My profession is as uptight as they come, and that is my set up. Not an issue or concern.

Thanks for the input everyone. Like I said, wheels are the next big purchase and then I'll consider the RHFC come spring. Maybe right around the time the wheels go on for a little extra excitement! I don't see myself staying with this company for more than a few more months as it is so...

Not in my experience at least. Any of the girls I have in my cars either haven't said anything or know that I like cars so just accept that this is how it is haha. If you're picking up one of those "Like, oh-my-god your car is soooo loud what the fuhk" what are you doing anyway?

I have sport exhaust and resonated test pipes. I'm a realtor in dfw and I do not think my car is too loud. I mean it's a sharp looking car, it should have a nice exhaust note. I too am a firm believer in not turning off clients due to the vehicle you drive.

Laughed, but a lawyer, mostly unglamorous utilities-related work. At least priests get some respect.

Well I parked in doctors parking in front of my clinic with my super modded G35 sedan with Berk high flow cats and a Stillen true dual exhaust. That thing was so obnoxiously loud. But, I am my own boss. . .

Well that's a plus. I don't think it matters if they fire you for a throaty exhaust. You've got your eye on the door anyway. Throw a SC on while you're at it!!
