Motordyne vs Z1 plenums

Forgive me if this has been posted before as I can not find it. Has there been a comparison on a dyno? Is there a writ-up on what they do and/or the differences?

This has been my questions before. It seems that no one has done a comparison with everything else the same. There has been people that switched from one to the other, but when they got it on the dyno something else was different about their car as well. I believe the dyno sheets on the z1 website did not tune for the motordyne intake.

Good, So #1 was Motordyne and #2 was Z1? Could you feel any difference? Which do you have now is the real question?

From: Framingham Ma,
I could feel two differences, One in the mid range the M370 really pulled but at like 6200 it fell on it face HARD. The Z1 is just like stock more of a linear power and just keeps pulling to 7500 or so. I have the Z1 on my car now but have a brand new M370 sitting in the basement with no hardware.

Thanks! From what I can see the Z1 is just an open ported stock version from the pictures. Can you elaborate what the M370 looks like under the plate or what they did to it?

From: Framingham Ma,
The M370 is just a G35 intake mani with the bolt holes modded.

Z1 is on the left.

M370 is a good Upper IM. It seems the Z1 is too. You can't go wrong with either. I have the M370 and I am happy with it.

Tony knows what he is doing with the parts he makes and he actually answers when you call. How often do you drive in the upper rpm range?

He didn't make this it's just a VQ35HR manifold...with a plate on top and rerouting of a few hoses and redrilling a few holes anyone can do this!

I picked up the manifold and made the parts for under 150

there is not a DIY but I did it my self..instead of using that big ugly plate to bolt down th2 VQ35HE Manifold I bought some washers that fit in the bolt holes and some different bolts..you do have to shave some of the manifold to fit towards the back but nothing major..
I cant believe people spend 600$ on it blows my mind!!
