FI HFC CEL on :(

Just got off the phone with my mechanic and he said he had a helluva time getting my Fast Intentions Hi-flow cats installed (lol). The bad news is he said my check engine light came on. He didn't tell me the exact code over the phone, but I will go pick it up after work today. What can I do? Anyone else solve this problem without having to get a full tune?

I have an '11 G37s 6MT with Takeda CAI, axle-back exhaust and I ported my plenum without having the CEL come on.

I know he did use an air gun on one side at least. Is there an easy way to test the O2 sensor?

From: Framingham Ma,
If you have a scan tool, I'm guessing the voltage level. But I had to have one replaced one I did mine also, drivers I think

Thanks.

I have one of those wifi OBD2 scanners that connects to my phone. I will see what it says when I get there.

on the O2 sensors yes they are very sensitive and you have to be very carful when you remove them and put them back on..

So the code that came up is P1168. When I look up the code online it says Powertrain Manufacturer controlled DTC - Manufacturer Controlled. Closed loop control, Bank 2. Wiritign, HO2S, HO2S heater.

There is a pending code of P0051 HO2S Heater control circuit low. Heated oxygen sensor HO2S 1 Bank 2 - heater voltage low.

So it does seem to be an O2 sensor. Can someone tell me which O2 sensor that is?

I believe bank 2 is passenger side, everything is done from the drivers seat. Drivers side us 1 if I remember right.

Thanks.

Driver's seat in one country could be different from driver's seat in another country.

I would love a RHD G37
