G37 coupe midpipe or y pipe which one fits the sedan?

I read here before, forgot the exact thread but some guy put a G37 coupe exhaust part on the sedan which increased the noise. I despise aftermarket exhaust, never put one on any of my cars but this g37 sedan sounds horrible compared to my old g35 coupe or g35 sedan I owned. I just want a little bit more sound nothing like the drone, raspi-ness, that's why I just want that part of the coupe.

Second thing is the handling on the awd is not so great, so I'm guessing the sway bars off the coupe will also fit?

thanks guys

The Y pipe is the same, not sure on the mid pipe but I think they're different. FWIW the Top Speed Y back will give you a nice deeper tone w/ very little drone (just a bit in the 1500-1800 rpm range) and NO rasp.

If you go w/ a rear RWD sway bar from the sedan that will be a big improvement, the front ones are decent though. (compared to the front sways on the RWDs).

Y pipe for 370Z, 2007-2008 G35 Sedan, G37 Sedan, and G37 Coupe are the same. The midpipe is different on all 3.

Get thicker aftermarket sway bars and maybe lowering springs, should make a huge difference in handling on your X. I put S4 rear sway bars on my wifes A4 and the handling was so much improved. I did test drive a XS model before I bought my RWD S and the feel between the 2 was very noticeable to me, hence why I bought the S.

Ok that's good info, so my suspicion was that the midpipe was different... now can anyone confirm if the G37 coupe midpipe WILL fit the G37x sedan?

Or for that matter a 370z, fx, or ex midpipe?

I can vouch for the Sways I got my rear sway off a 37S Coupe with the Swift springs it's a huge improvement.

Blnewt ... curious about the comment, so will just a Y pipe alone with stock exhaust give it a deeper Coupe sound?

Unfortunately no, the Y pipe has very little effect on the exhaust note from all that I've read
The TopSpeed Pro 1 uses the existing OEM Y pipe, but has new resonated mid pipes & tail mufflers and has a nice deeper tone.

To each his own. I always hated the exhaust note of the G35 sedan or coupe, FX35, and the 350Z. I remember hearing it when those cars originally came out and I often laughed at the high pitch, canister sounding exhaust.

The 3.7L engine is an improvement and the sedan exhaust definitely sounds the best of all.

Really? The sedan exhaust has sound? JK

I just find my Sedan is barely noticeable I miss my Altima SE-R exhaust, and was hoping to get the same out of my G37 Sedan without having to spend a ton.
