Hey guys,

Was looking around and researching for a while for exhaust and tps.
Finally pulled trigger on Invidia gemini and motordyne Art pipes.
Just installed on my 2012 g37s and sound great!

Install wasn't too bad except those demon bolts on cats to headers. I had a friend of friend try do it at his shop but he was too lazy to put in work and get Em off. So I went to a guy I know that does lotta custom work at a jiffy lube next to my house. This guy was great, he stayed hours past closing and put in some serious effort to get those stupid bolts off. Eventually it was just right angle, leverage, and silicone spray and penetrating oil and we got Em off.

Rest of install was a breeze. Now they are on and sound freakin amazing. Exactly what I wanted, not too loud at idle or cruising, but when open up a lil you def hear a nice deep vq tone. No rasp or CEL yet. Goin back in tomorrow to re tighten all bolts.

Made me fall in love with downshifting all over again haha. Maybe get a video up here soon.

 

Question about ecu reset tho. I disconnect neg battery terminal and pumped brakes to drain. Let sit a few mins. Rebook and start. My odometer trip and mpg info was reset but my satellite radio stations were still saved, sooo did my ecu reset? Or are the satellite stations saved in some other way or like downloaded from sat signal or something?

 

Do you have any rasp? Please post a video to YouTube and link it or something I have art pipes and idk what exhaust to go with cause I have insane rasp with a muffler delete

 

Don't worry about an ECU reset. Just drive and enjoy!

 

I have FI RHFC and Invidia CBE= zero rasp.

Don't know about ART pipes. Sorry no time for vids with my schedule.
