Anyone here has a borla exhaust on their G? I looked around and couldn't find a single thread/review on it. I want to get borla part # 140510 for my G37xS coupe. Any feedback on this exhaust is greatly appreciated.

 

I do not have a borla exhaust on my G37 but I do know they make a very good product. I've had them on anohter vehicle and they performed very well and sound great.

 

I had a Borla catback on my 94 Z28 twenty years ago. Sound and fit was perfect, but that was for a "muscle car" sound I was looking for. I also wondered how Borla would sound on a G37.

 

I'm just wondering why there are literally 0 threads about the exhausts. I also checked youtube for any videos about the exhaust and there are very few videos and they are all really old.

 

I just had a custom exhaust made at a local shop. I did a bit of a hybrid system. I went with a Magnaflow X pipe and 18" Magnaflow resonators and then put Borla mufflers in. I went with 2.25" pipe. I absolutely love the sound and the guy who did the install was an artist. Everything has beautiful welds and is tucked up really clean. I spent $1000.00 on the exhaust installed which is a lot less than several of the pre-fab exhausts you can purchase. I will be posting a video soon to give people a basic idea of sound.

 

Back when I bought my borla, I watched almost every exchaust clip and liked borla the best. At the time, Borla had the most gains based on many dyno sheets members posted, and it sounded the best to me. I'm not sure what is on the market currently, but I was sold on the Borla (this was in like 09). I added Berk high flow cats shortly after and it sounds amazing to me. Always get compliments everywhere I go.
