Definitely had the bumper brackets, but I believe you may be correct about pushing the pipe just a hair too far. Instead of assuming that during the install (cuz nobody doubts their own work LOL), I modified the grill lol. Took me 1 minute to cut off a small piece of plastic off the backside of the grill that was rubbing against the shield that didn't really affect anything. I just assumed it was because the CAI was advertised for a coupe rather than a sedan. Probably could have attempted to adjust those pipes a bit huh lol. All in all, it worked out fine though.
