mishimoto or hps post maf tubes
Is either one better? Does one fit better or thicker than the other? Are the ones for the z, coupe and sedan the same one? Thanks for the info.

Answered, they are the same for both cars and no difference other than the name I have Z1 tube- Same thing :/

Do these tubes make any difference? Does the sound change, can you feel any difference or is it just to dress up the bay?

You had me as "dress up". That's all the justification you need, right there.
Everything else (sound, performance) is so minimal, if at all, that it's more placebo than otherwise. And nothing wrong with that, either.
