No offence, but there are 3 other exhaust threads on the first page, and 2 more with your exact question on the next page... But I'll help you out. Exhaust is a lot about personal preference, in the end only you can decide which is right for you.

Ark Grip
Fast Intentions
Motordyne E370
MXP
GTHaus Meisterschaft

Those are the most common and/or reputable exhausts for the G37. YouTube them, and search for them on the forum and you should be able to make a decision on which you would like. My personal favorites are the GTHaus and Motordyne... Ark will be the most common. Good luck with your decision.

Just made a post yesterday similar to this. After some research and with some guidance from members, think I'm gonna go with an ark exhaust. Good luck on your exhaust hunt!

Is your ride a convertible or coupe or sedan?

It is a coupe. I have listened to a couple of the sounds on Youtube and the one I am liking is the Stillen exhaust. However, the exhaust tips on the Stillen doesn't look nice, at an angle it looks bad. I am looking for a true dual exhaust that looks like the OEM with a deeper growl and sound. The ark is nice but I don't like the V shape look of the exhaust.

My stock exhaust sounds different than other stock ones. Mine is an 08 and I have that exhaust rattle. It doesn't have the growl or loud sound that I hear from other stock G37 around. After narrowing down a few choices, finally deciding I am going with the Ark, I am going to have to accept the way it hangs.

Could you enlighten me a little when you say "slight mod" PLZ? I have already committed to Fast Intentions exhaust. However, I would love to know what causes all the fitment problems that seem to have shut down so many options.

The drivers side convertible brace is directly in the path of the pipe to the muffler. I posted a picture of the brace a little lower in this forum and where it doesn't line up/ I had to have a custom stainless pipe bent around the brace. It cost me an additional $200. It was completely worth it for me. I love the sound still, I was driving next to a G37 coupe with an ark and it was way too noisy for me, the car probably had high flow cats too...but just too in your face. I like the convertible to be loud when i mash it, not when im just cruising and the Takeda does exactly that.

So I ended buying the Ark from Kyle @ Import Parts Pro. Unbeatable price! Can't wait to put it on and hear how it sounds in person!
