Stillen Headers AND Berk HFC Question

Has anyone on the forum installed a set of headers AND the HFC along with Cat Back? Stillen was recommending against the headers and HFC due to heat and running lean. I am assuming I could get a tune to take care of the lean condition? Any thoughts or experience?

they are recommending against using their headers??

I dont really think the stillen headers are a good buy since they were originally made for the VQ35DE engines and since they fit the new VQ HR engines, then they are still being sold.

Just my opinion. Not many ppl run headers because of the price of the labor install. If you are interested in headers plus HFC, then you could try long tube headers.

Stillen is recommending against using the headers and HFC. I can get headers for $512 and i would do the install myself. Who sells the longtube headers?

Fast Intentions Long Tube Headers are here! - Nissan 370Z Forum

When speaking with stillen about supercharging my car, they told me, "we do not recommend HFCs with our supercharger kits because of the heat."

I am guessing after reviewing the threads and advertisement that when it says offroad use that means that it wont pass emissions testing which we dont have in Ohio anyway. With a FI catback exhaust what is the sound like?

I have no idea, I would start a new topic to see if anyone has them or, ask Fast Intentions or on the Z boards.
