Stillen G3 rubbed on my AC condenser Tubing

Now I need a new piece, the aluminum piece its a Condenser Tube.

We re-did the Intake intall and now it does not rub anymore but i will apply anti vibration foam anyway around the tubing just for precaution this time.

I got quoted $362 + tax to get all this done i felt like its wayyy too much.

Basically will need to remove the front of the intake again to re install the piece.

Then will have to add new refrigerant and PAG oil recharge.

Do u guys know exacly the part number? I cant remembe. Its fairly small aluminum tube piece.

Let me know if you guys think the link i gave is the correct piece!

thanks all and have agood day

I'm pretty sure that actual piece is <$50. Check the nissan dealership, if I remember correctly, the part is the same between the G37 and a 370z.

^ Correct, its around $50.

Also its a common issue about the gen 3 rubbing through the ac line. Put a piece of rubber or something between them and you will be fine.

Were you getting a tapping sound when idling or low rpms? I've been experiencing this on mine and wondering if it's the same thing.

actually, i did have that. But at first i thought it was the tube rubbing against something else, i applied some anti vibration foam to some part of the engine compartment and the vibration stopped. So im not sure if they were really related or not....

To be more specific it was rubbing against the side of engine bay, part that is the same color of the car. Not an actual piece of any engine part or ac etc.

That was something i found to happen as well but it wouldn't damage anything over time specially with the foam i added.
