O2 sensor question

i have a CEL with my HFC (i have reset my ecu several times using the gas pedal method), so i was going to do the non-fouler extender method maybe this weekend.

Are the O2 sensors hard to get off? A shop did the install for me, so should they theoretically be pretty easy to get off now? Its been a few months

Any special tools or just the appropriate sized wrench?

Do people still stuff brillo pads in there as well?
