Cat removal

Hi guys I got my Megan test pipes today. Is it worth paying 80$ to get them put in or is it easy for me to do myself? My sedan has 40k miles on it. Thanks!

Don't do it yourself. Run away. Run far. Get it done.

$80 is a good price...you don't even want to know how much I paid the dealer to put in mine.

I would think 2 hours labor for someone who knows what they are doing. 80 is a steal and probably unrealistic. Have they looked at your car on a lift yet?

I did mine myself in my garage on jack stands. It wasn't the easiest thing but I got it done. 28" of extensions through the engine bay to get the top bolts off but got it done myself. It's up to you though

Yep. I'll be doing mine soon. I know I won't find a shop that would do it for $80. Plus I'd rather do it myself.

It's a PITA to do yourself. If you enjoy puzzles or problem solving then take a stab at it yourself, if you are an "easy button fellow" then let the shop do it. The price is great for $80! I personally (along with a lot of others) take satisfaction in doing it ourselves. Thats the fun part of modding!
