However, any 370/hr hfc or test pipe will work on our coupe or sedan right?

I'm not sure. The 370 exhaust is shorter than the G37 exhaust.

I just see most vendors list the parts as applicable to either. Not cat backs but hfc and test pipes. Just makes finding used stuff so much easier if I know I can look on the z forums

An easy way to check is to look on vendor's actual websites. Compare the Part #'s between Z's and G's and see if they're the same.
