I was wondering if any of the members here are running intake, hfc and exhaust
without a tune and if so ... how many mile has it been or is not getting a tune with this setup unheard of?

I ran FI exhaust and intake with only a pocket tune for a while. Maybe a couple thousand miles before I took it to get dyno tuned. No problem, why do you ask?

Well I was wondering because currently I am just running a stillen gen 3 intake and stillen exhaust . I just got my FI RHFC's and would like to install it but with the mixed reviews of people saying a tune is required if I want to add it. I just wanted to see how many owners have ran all 3 without a tune and without any issues.

I have the Stillen Gen 3 Intake and Stillen HFC's, and ARK Grip CBE.
I got an UpRev tune at Z1 Motorsports.
It added about 23 HP and 16 Ftlbs Torque from the baseline done with the mods.

You definitely should get a tune, to take advantage of the mod's.

If you don't, the only risk I see, is that when you put on a Cold Air Intake, HFC's and CBE on, you are "leaning out" the Air/Fuel Ratio. If you run it too hard you could possibly cause damage to the engine.

Get the Tune !!!
