Make sure you protect the air conditioner line in front of the radiator support. My rubber tubing wore through and eventually wore through the a/c line.

I agree! My intake was also rubbing on to the AC tubing which I ended up replacing. Pain in the butt and an unnecessary expense.

I had the same problem.....all I did was install a small square of double stick velcro. This way the velcro is attached to both the strut tower and the back side of the intake pipe. You can also use a "silicone dot" from home depot....basically a small cicrle of silicone used as a door bumper in a cabinet. Either work and are both inexpensive solutions

Just a piece of foam tape is all you need. Any Lowe's/Home Depot should have it. The fitment is mediocre at best but it is the best intake for our cars and generates some serious hp you can feel.

GT law,

Why would you never install STILLEN again on your car?

Thanks,
Greg

anybody ever thought of or have used some sort of foaming sealant or gap fillers around the air inlet surrounding the pipe?

I used 2 layers of electrical tape and then ran strips of 3M like a DIY I saw. No rubbing / vibration at all. Even holding up against the swing in temps here in MD. Also worth noting, I popped off my intakes to clean my TBs and there was quite a bit of rubbing as I moved the CAI out of position and my anti vibrating measures have held up
