Headers

Looking to get some new headers for my '08 G37S coupe, 6 speed. I know Stillen has some good ones, but does anybody have any recommendations for any others? Thanks!

not worth the time money vs gains you are going to get.... and makes the exhaust too loud or add more rasp.... $500 + for the headers, 5+ hours was the cheapest quote I got for the install.... and ones you have put the headers or long tube headers all said its a PITA to DIY and will never do that again. Thanks for the advice, but if i do get them I'm going to take it to a shop. I am planning on getting headers, Berk HFCs, and possibly an ARK or Fast Intentions exhaust all done at the sametime. If I had the time I'd knock it out at home but unfortunately I don't.

header + "berk HFCs" + and any exhaust is going to be raspy....... well if you don't like it you can always sell it back for less....

Just search forum members, sound clips, youtube, local meets and find out which setup you like the most.... then go after that.
exhaust.... get used ones, cause no one will look it it from the bottom and sounds the same, and sometimes 1/2 off the new price tag....

but its your G, do what ever you want to do. GL!

If you get headers check out Megan Racing. They are like $320. Since headers do not give you that many gains its probably the best deal.

I did headers no rasp at all.
Wanted more power & it delivered.
Had fi HFCs fi car back & gen 3 intake with tune.
Gained a nice amount of power all around from low mid range & top end.
Install is a pia, but not if you do it all at once.
It's a 4-6 hr job.
I'm no stillen fanboy, bit the stock manifold porting is crap.
The stillen has larger diameter ports & much bigger collector to allow a much higher flow.
Long tube headers are great except the $1200 price tag.

If you don't go with stillen, dc makes a nice set.
Gl with your decision.

I've always heard that headers + any VQ motor = RASP but that's just what I've heard...

I may go the Stillen route as you can get a set of 304 SS for $628. That's a pretty good price for headers that many have used, but Z1 gave you big power so I'm torn. I may jump on headers sooner than I was thinking I would. Christmas present for me??

Z1 just had a black Friday sale on the header's they were 100 dollars off..
I would pay the extra and get the ceramic coating on them to keep the heat down.

I got DC headers i like them. ACCEPT the fact that the left side does NOT have a O2 sensor slot so u WILL have a CEL light on. Running berks test pipes and berks and HKS high powered exhaust. sounds mean
