Litespeed Racing Exhaust?
Litespeed Racing Exhaust?
I never heard of the company and they seem to only have exhaust for the VQ. From their site the company seems small and new, I did a quick forum search on here and came up with nothing. Here is the link for the catback exhaust: litespeed racing — Infiniti G37 Cat-Back Exhaust
Anyone have experiences with them?
I am interested in the resonated Y-pipe which is a steal for $200. Hopefully when they say "fits all VQ engines" that includes the AWD *Finger crossed*

never heard of litespeed but just from taking a quick glance at the website I would never consider this system. The "burnt titanium" tips show obvious signs of paint run. The carbon fiber tips are covered in scratches (you would think they would try to put the best quality systems they have on display). They don't have any decent quality shots of the full exhaust in a normal resolution. They can't spell "steel" and they can't provide any exact numbers (weighs "about" 39 lbs, produces "about" 14hp). They claim titanium for all they're other exhaust systems but the G37 unit is stainless "steal" all at a price of $1,450 with hardly any resonators / mufflers.
Just my two cents though...

Someone actually bought this system and posted it on FB V36 group. Sounds decent but I definitely would never pay 1400+ for it when you can add couple hundred more for Motordyne or Fast Intentions.
I want to clear the air, and say that Litespeed Racing is a small, and young brand, and some of the complaints mentioned are the result of growing pains of a new brand, and not a reflection of poor quality.
For example spelling errors, do not reflect poor quality or cheap products.
-Dyno results vary on each dyno pull, so to say that an intake or exhaust makes exactly "x" amount of horse power gain is incorrect and misleading.
-The exhaust tips are heat treated titanium, and there is no paint drip. There is residue from the protective film, that was not cleaned off before the photo. (this is not a sign of poor quality, or "cheapness", just a mistake, that is made more obvious because of the high resolution images. Unlike the small low quality product images on many other brands sites)
-The carbon fiber tips are the highest among quality in the industry, made of 100% pre-preg aerospace grade epoxy carbon fiber, and made in the USA. Almost all other carbon fiber parts for cars, are made with fiber glass fillers and low grade, wet lay up resins.
-The Litespeed Racing exhaust is designed to be as light as possible, and does not have rear mufflers to reduce weight. This results in a very aggressive sounding exhaust note, and makes for a very feee flowing system.

You coming on here to shed some light about your product speaks volumes. We tend to be skeptical about a lot of brands on here, however once you win us over we're a loyal bunch. From the vid, exhaust sounds good. Fixing the grammatical errors and pics and providing some dyno charts will go a long way. If quality and fitment is high on your chart of values placed in the manufacturing of your product, the tide will turn in your favor. Good luck going forward
