I am looking for a new intake as of now i have the injen sri intake and im thinking about going to long tubes........ i hear alot about the stillen gen 3 but the only thing is i hear that you have to cut a hole somewhere....
not a big fan of cutting holes
any other brand you would suggest where no cutting is required

I don't think you have to cut a hole for stillen gen 3, but then again I don't have it so i could be wrong. Solid option is R2C. R2C is more looks/sound instead of a lot of performance gains.

Stillen Gen 3 long tube intake you do have to cut some plastic inlets wider for the tube to fit through.

Takeda long tube does not require cutting and utilizes rubber attachments to fit through the existing holes

R2C is a short ram and is easy to install, does not require any cutting or mods. It sounds really good too, nice throaty growl when you put the pedal down.

Stillen gen 3 = cutting and cost more
Takeda cai = no cutting cost less.

Both great intakes IMO just name brand is different.

I have the Stillen Gen 3 Intake.
You do have to cut a bit, a Dremmel Tool works fine.
It was not a difficult installation.
I love the look, and can feel the extra power.

short ram will be a little less because it sucks in engine compartment air, which is hot. the long tubes are actual cold air intakes. cold air intake isnt the same as short ram
