Silicone Intake Hoses

Is there any material differences between the various vendors for Silicone Intake Hoses?

I see HPS, Z1, and Mishimoto. Any fitment differences? Issues with any?

HPS claims a HP and Torque improvement.

Mishimoto claims to be heat resistant (provides cooler intake charge) - which SHOULD lead to hp/torque advantages at times.

Z1 - well they don't claim either.

But from the pics, all look identical.

Experiences - good and bad?

I've searched - and find only a couple of posts. I assume they are not too popular...

TIA

Edit: here in toasty Texas - my primary motivation is reduction in heat soak. Hence...it makes sense to me to utilize silicone as the intake hose material (compared to any type of metal and/or plastic). Thx

The oem tubes felt thicker to me, so not sure about better heat resistance. But there are ripples inside the oem tube, not smooth like the aftermarket stuff.
