Happy belated bday...that's a great gift! What made you go with the upgraded x-pipe? What difference do the resonators make? I too have the RHFCs and trying to decide if I want the CF or SS catback...standard x-pipe or resonated x-pipe.

Do itttt! You definitely won't regret it. I've had mine on since Wednesday and I couldn't be happier!

I thought this was a 2.5 inch exhaust , I had a custom 2.75 built but the standard is a 2.50.
Correct me if I'm wrong,

honestly i went with the new x-pipe after talking to vosseng37 (diego). he answered all the questions i had. pretty much the new style is a little louder and gives power gains. either way, both styles come in 18" resonators, 12" resonators, or no resonators. the 12" is louder than the 18", and obviously no resonator is loudest, however i've been told having no resonator has a little rasp at top end but i have not personally seen this. i have the 12" setup with resonated high flows and i can personally guarentee after having broken the exhaust in that there is no rasp at all from idle to redline, it sounds amazing the whole time.

i went with SS because when i asked tony the difference he did admit the carbon fiber is louder and sounds a tad bit more exotic, me being a college student and the fact im more than likely not putting any carbon fiber on the car anywhere he said it probably wouldnt be worth the extra money for me to get the carbon fiber mufflers unless my heart was set on it. i'll be recording again the exhaust this week now that it is finally fully broken in and you can decide from there, but talk to vosseng37, he has had both carbon fiber muffler and SS muffler, old style x-pipe, new style x-pipe 18" and now 12". he'd be able to give personal experience between the difference in them.

You are not wrong, I had mine custom made to 2.25 since I have a sedan and don't want it to be too loud. Tony talked me through that option and it made sense for me to go with 2.25.

How long does it take Tony to ship the catback? It took 2 weeks to make my RHFCs so id assume making a full catback will take twice as long?

I ordered mine a week ago and because he is moving shops, he estimated middle of August but hoped he could deliver by end of July.
