Quieting down ARK exhaust?

I had my ARK exhaust installed on my '08 G37 about 8 months ago. As of the last few months I've noticed that the exhaust has gotten a lot louder. It is a very deep sound that has gotten a little irritating. I was trying to search for some options and only came across getting a mid-pipe muffler. Would that work on this exhaust or are there any other options?

Best bet is to sell it and get a new exhaust. It'll go fast 'round these parts of town.

You could have two extra resonators welded in. I would check for leaks though. Sounds kind of weird that all of a sudden the exhaust got louder. Break-in takes about 400 miles but most people mention the exhaust getting quieter.

I feel like it could be a leak because it seems to quiet down significantly if I drive it for a while (from the metal heating up and expanding to cover a leak). But, does the exhaust not have something in it that detects for leaks?

You'll have to look at the flanges / gaskets and make sure there are no cracks in the welds, ect.

weird that it just got louder, +1 checking for leaks. If leaks aren't the issue, then consider resonated hfcs from fast intentions. I've had ark for a few months and just today installed fast intentions' rhfcs, deeper sounding and I'm sure it's a bit louder from outside the car, but they've quieted down the interior a ridiculous amount.

I have wondered about this too. I love the exhaust, but now I find mine very very loud for a daily driver. It sounds amazing, but at the same time it is a little agressive at times. Sometimes I wish I could just hit the gas without scaring other people on the road. haha.

Mine has been on for about 6,000 miles, stock cats, and Takeda Ling Tube intakes.

For the Ark guys, or anyone who knows the exhaust, is there any to add a pair of resonators on the piping between the x-pipe piece and the muffler piece? basing my question off an awd sedan exhaust, not sure what OP has.

If anything. Just hypothetically speaking. If we HAD to quiet down the exhaust, we would put a pair of resonators right before and after the Xpipe
