Removing Stillen Gen 3 Intake

I'm sitting on a STILLEN intake, and I'm contemplating whether or not I want to install it, since it requires permanent modification to the stock intake system. Since the original air ports have to be enlarged, does that prevent reinstallation of the stock system?

no it doesn't, you can always go back to stock. Also, it doesn't need huge holes or a dremmel to make the holes.

^^correct. It has nothing to do with modifying the "intake system". Everything you cut really has zero affects on the stock intakes

I just installed mine last weekend and all things considered it was a success. My worst fears turned out to be nothing to worry about. I was more afraid of taking my bumper off more than anything else. Special shot-out to 1cleanG for the DIY on that. I def had a print of your write up on deck! I did the install in 4.5/5 hours but if I knew what I know now, I truly believe its a 3.5 job. A few little things pissed me off (radiator cover) but I'm over it. GL with install...its too soon to worry about re-insatlling stock

Very valid points. I'll post pics once I get it on.
