Anyone have stock downpipes laying around?
I made the ill-advised decision of buying Megan Racing downpipes and they really do sound like crap. The shop that installed them stripped the bolts and had to cut my stock catalytic converter off for the install, so I can't just go back to stock. Does anyone have stock downpipes that they would be interested in selling? If not, I will most likely just buy hfcs to replace them.
It's common to strip the nuts or break the bolts when removing the cats especially if the G is a couple of years old. Your best bet would be to go HFC.
Good luck though.
And our cars don't come with FI stock, so no stock downpipes here. :P

I guess it would be the midpipe, I've heard it called both. I need the y-pipe to replace my busted y-pipe and the midpipe to replace the janky megan racing midpipes. Let me know how much you want for them.

That's the part I had installed.

That's not usually referred to as a downpipe. It's generally called a test pipe or cat delete. If you want an OEM replacement for that, it'll be catalytic converters. Aftermarket will be test pipes or high flow cats (HFC).
Don't go back to that shop. Your cats are worth money, even damaged. I hope you got them and didn't let the shop keep them.
