Sup Guys,

I have an Ark catback....looking to either get HFC's or TP's. Does anyone here have the Ark catback and running either of those? If so, whats the consesnus? Too loud/too raspy/too farty (lol)...please give me some feedback on this....thanks...have a '11 G37x sedan with R2C intakes...

I also tried to search but came up empty handed.

 

i tink you should wait a few weeks to see if Motordyne's new ART pipes fit the X lol thats what im doing im ordering as soon as they are put online so i can test them out

apparently ART pipes sound deeper/cleaner than TP/HFC and also no rasp

 

Regular hfc will rasp.. i tried.. im goin with double resonated tp, resonated hfc, or the new arts

fast intentions.. I have been talking to them about it. I had berk HFC and hated how it sounded.. running stock cats for now..

 

^ I'm still not believing you on this whole Berk + ARK = rasp thing. You should make a video. Nobody else's ARK system I've heard rasps, which is why I picked one up in the first place.

 

Yeah im lieing just for fun... i have made videos and they on on here already.. search.. and no it does not raso normally but with hfc it does..

 

Ark sounds good by itself. I'd just run it with
Stock cats

 

Oh, WELL. I'm sorry that I didn't see one between the 5 threads or so you made on the same exact topic.

I will give you that your exhaust does sound out of whack with HFCs on, but that does not sound like rasp. Next time you should try YouTube so it's readily visible and clickable in the thread and the quality is workable.

 

I didn't want to put it on youtube for a reason 1. and 2 all the threads I made on that topic were not about the same thing. And it was the HFC making it do that because I went back to stock cats and its fine now.. way to quite but no rasp. When I had HFC the exhaust sounded mean at 4k+.. much louder than with stock cats. I plan on FI double RTP or Resonated HFC. Either way, I just want a louder tone with no rasp.. I will let you know what I find out.
