OK...now I that I have the CAI installed & catback exhaust...what are my options for a tune ? (The exhaust is waiting to be installed). Is there a good self tuner, or should I go to a dyno-tune?
OR DO I DO NOTHING...Will my G adjust the A/F ratio to my new setup? What's the limit of the G's stock tune?

The number 1 tip I'd give you is to find a local dealership that will handle your car if there is ever a problem and feel them out for their stance on mods. Dealerships are not all the same. Some sell and install Stillen products, some try to claim your warranty is void the second they see and intake.
In my experience, and I think the law states this, an aftermarket product does not void a vehicles warranty unless it is proven to responsible for the damage to the vehicle ie. If you install a Stillen CAI, and 1 month later your fuel pump goes out. Your warranty covers the fuel pump unless the Stillen CAI is proven to be responsible for the damage.
If you follow my advice and find a dealership that are not a$$'s then you'll save some headaches.
As for your other questions - CAI = see above Exhaust = same as CAI
Tune= Warranty goes bye-bye unless you can reflash back to stock ecu map before the dealership gets their hands on the car. The old Cobb Accessport offered this.
I had headers, HFC's, cat-back exhaust, intake, crank pulley, tune, suspension etc.. on my 08 coupe and my local dealer serviced my car with no questions asked, and fixed items under warranty with no hassles, so it depends on the people you work with.
As for best performance combination... This is a very personal taste area. Here are the general rules of thumb:
CAI - don't do much on our cars, they offer great sound, but little real HP. Stillen Gen 3's are the one exception offering multiple dyno's showing 10-14 HP gain. Takeda's new intake is just hitting stores, but promises similar results to Stillens (it's very similar design)
Exhaust - This is purely personal. Tons of different sounds available, most systems will give you decent HP/TQ gains. You really can't go wrong, and the tone/sound is the deciding point.
High Flow Cats- offer instant HP gains, tested and proved. These are a must if you want the most HP from your exhaust. Berk and Fast Intentions are most popular brands.
Tune - Their are no good plug and play tuners that show they are a good purchase for real HP gains. Your best bet would be to find a local certified uprev tuner and discuss the options you have to get a true custom tune to your ride. It might be hard because you'll need an awd dyno.
Hope this info helps!

Thanks for all the info azg37. Good stuff. I know that the CAI provides the least HP/TQ but I like the sound it provides, and I have seen mpg gains from other vehicles. I think my biggest hurdle is the dyno tune; which seems to be the only way to go.
ANMVQ.....you're my hope for anything related to a G37X dyno tune...can't wait.

Gotta see your dyno results anmvq.....
Stage one mods completed; awhile back actually.
K&N intake.
Magnaflow catback 2.5".
Hypertech Sport Programmer : 0-60 throttle restriction removed , 91 octane performance curve.
Good results. I am happy with the difference in performance, and sound. I like the off-the-line response. Much quicker. The car just feels more like it should have stock.
One thing I looked into was the crappy shifting especially in AT DS mode. I went to my dealer and got free udpate downloads to firm up AND make the shifts more predictable. This was a BIG improvement over stock. I recommend this to AT owners. My Stage one expectations have been met.
Go to Infiniti G37 Technical Support Bullitins
I installed ITB09-032b AND ITB10-075a

Thanks. I think what I should do is ask the dealer directly; then go from there. I think the first thing to do is the CAI; no tune should be necessary, and I'll get small gains and some growl.
Anybody familiar with the K&N Typhoon CAI ? I wonder if one system is really better than the other. They all appear to have the same diameter tubing , and have only one or two bends for the G installation. The filters are no doubt made of similar material. I would think that they all would flow air about the same. If that is true then price and appearance would be the only determining factor.
I can't remember the Brand name, but I saw a system that runs all the way in front of the rad. The air would certainly be cooler there , but I wonder if the gains outweigh the extra cost, as compared to the shorter, more conventional systems that have the filters placed where the oems were.

Stillen gen 3 or ypur cpuld.get the takeda.(imo stillen is making better gains)
Mostró important, after exhaust is all buttoned up, get a tune asap.
This will not only give you better performance, car will drive 1000x better.
Not to mention the extra mpg of ypur drive.normal.
