Help tune this exhaust set up.

So my cousin has a evo x, with an EMS exhaust. Its rated at 10x louder than stock... needless to say it sounds AMAZING and i am now hooked on loud exhausts. Forget tickets ect, lets leave that out :P. Since the g fund is low right now, i have time to ponder my next purchases! Oh and i have a X coupe, so most exhaust are out (ARK, MXP, HKS, Borla ect)

So i have 4 potential set ups in mind

1) FI carbon fiber muffler catback + Berk test pipes
2) Greddy Ti-C + Y pipe (whichever fit the X coupe) + Berk Test pipes
3) Invidia Gemini + Berk Test pipes (may not be loud enough)

Option 3 seems to be my best bet (and by best i mean loudest). but do any vendors make straight pipes for the g? i would like to try and avoid the y pipe inorder to make a true dual type exhaust.

Loud isn't always best. I'd go with the fi with berks I think the fi has a nice tone to it. Btw you are thread starting king! Haha

^^ haha i know, sally has been on my mind a lot lately, its been snowing here so i havent been driving her for a while so i cant stop thinkin about it haha. I just fgured out the TIC NEEDS a y pipe, so that screws me up a bit haha. I edited the options, im looking for a loud (not raspy, but dont care about drown) sound, but i also want to maximize performance. It seems that maybe the FI cf catback would be the best since its a true dual

It's all good man that's what the forum is for to bounce ideas and questions off of everyone else. They should put a crown under your name though!

Add test pipes & it'd be plenty loud...no? Sheeit, might as well throw in a set of headers.

I have the gemini with berk HFC and it's not all that loud. I wanted a more quiet exhaust and went with that setup. I don't think that the test pipes will make it as loud as you want it to be.
