Experiences with k&n cold air intake on '10 or '11?

Just bought my G yesterday, and I'm already researching intakes and front strut bars

Seems the injen is preferred, but would prefer to avoid a true CAI design that could possibly lead to hydrolock. I also don't like the design of the injen SRI because it uses the stock flex tubes.

Does anyone have positive or negative experience with the k&n kit?

you wont hydrolock i promse. if your really worried, talk to john@JEBperformance. He will throw in free hydroshields for you. They are basically wraps you put around the filter if its really rainy and your worried. Neg of the K&N is less gains, and possible heat soaks because i dont believe it has heat shields like the R2C. Pos is easy instal

Just don't get long tube cai if you're afraid of hydrolock. +1 check with John@JEB from the vendor's section.
