Thank you for the review.
I am thinking about only getting the axle back.
But would you say having only axle back and whole full catback is totally different?
500 Axle back only < +1300(?) full cat back. worth it? or not that much?

Not that much man!!! Get your Tanabe Mufflers new under $600 and Mid pipe and Y pipe for 900!!! Total comes out to $1500 but quality exhaust man , Tanabe would-be the only other Echaust I would consider over Fast Intentions , Tanabe is awesome...

+1. A good cat back is going to be more expensive, but the quality of the system is going to be second to none.

Do you mind disclosing how much you paid for the entire system??

I bought things at different times so I don't remember exactly since I got the mufflers a couple years back. I think total though it's probably around 1400 for the catback then I got the HFC used about a year ago for 300-350 I think.

Great write-up, Wake's G definetly sounds really good in person, the video doesn't do it any justice. I have FI with the new X pipe and TP, and compared to Wake's, mine is just a tad deeper but the sound level is just about the same. It does have a unique exotic sound and tone that is different than FI, both are great you can't go wrong with either.

Thanks man. Sorry about earlier tonight. All the other guys were ready to go and had other stuff to do. We'll try to get something going again next weekend. Hopefully it won't be too cold.

Excactly^^^* I had same Fast intentions Catback w CF mufflers and X pipe and when I sold and tried the Tanabe mufflers alone , they surprised me !!! Mufflers alone sounded great imagine w full catback , well now after waiting and enjoying my New Fast Int w new X pipe w SS mufflers this time , i kinda miss the clean look of Tanabe and that unique tone it gives. Don't get me wrong Fast Int holds it's own and the power is amazing and still more aggressive appearance but man much respect for Tanabe.

heey yooou guysss(goonies)!
well, I would really like to receive some feedback on one topic that's been starting to bug me, and I'm getting ready to jump on this tanabe y pipe because of it.
I have an "EXHAUST DEPOT" y pipe on my car now, in aluminized steel btw.
I wanted to inquire on how much lighter would this tanabe y pipe in stainless steel be over aluminized steel?
I was told it was very marginal.
also to add, the y pipe sits closer towards the front on the car, so I would assume it would be beneficial to lower the weight of the front end(if you've taken out the spare, jack, and tools).
thanks!

nevermind my last post above^, did some searching and I pretty much got my answer...but now I would like to know if there is just a titanium version off the y pipe?
I know the answer will more then likely be a negative one but I was just trying to keep my hopes up.
thanks y'all.

Is the mid pipe avail for the sedan? I'm sure the y pipe will fit just unsure of the mid pipe as the axle backs are different between sedan and coupe...

I am not sure if it will fit the sedan. You will probably have to contact Tanabe about that.
