I thought the fitment was perfect? I recall that being stated in another thread. Why would you have to remove an OEM part (that is not replaced by this system) to accommodate this exhaust? I could understand fitment conflicts with other vendor parts but shouldn't your design align with the OEM geometry? I'm sure that brace serves a purpose. BTW, my ARK GRiP wasn't close to that shiny and I had to clean a significant amount of gunk from the flanges. Not sure what the gunk is. Perhaps welding leftovers...
That black bar serves almost no purpose in body roll. The only thing that really helps are those bolts that hold the metal shell in place.
Aftermarket bracing that utilizes the bar may help but that is only due to its different mounting points

Thank you for the pics Alex, my Top secret kit is coming end of this month and i've always wanted to know how my ARK exhaust will look under those! looks like it fits perfect there, although it looks kinda small under the kit. Do we have to readjust it again to fit the kit?
please pm price shipped to 92114, also does it come with all accesories and installation instruction? will i be able to install on the car on 2 jack stands or does the car have to be on lift?
