WOW, I called Tanabe and now they have the entire exhaust that produces those great numbers in their dynos. Y pipe is #T50063, Center Pipe# T50132, each cost $ 540 and off course the axle back # T70132A $890. Total $1970. For a mature sounding driver, is this worth it, or just get HKS, but thats a whole different sound I think, muscle and rasp sound, 2 loud. I need to keep the mature sounding sound that goes so well with the G. The muffler itself is great, but adding those 2 parts would be great.

That price list pricing. If you want it, call Lou and see what he can hook you up for. He got one of the first shipments of the original Medallion Touring axle back and the Sustec coilovers. He must be sleeping with one of the dudes over at Tanabe to get preferential treatment. As I recall, both of those products sold out of their initial shipments very quickly and it was a while before they came back into stock.

It's gotta be lower than $1970 if that's the number Tanabe gave him. I don't think they sell direct so they won't give you the actual sales price, just the MSRP.
You'd need to call a vendor like Lou first to find out the pricing before making comparisons.

Haha I just read it.
It doesn't make sense but maybe he's trying to say
"which one would you pick regardless if you have the money or not."

yeah, poll is like "huh?" What about FI cat-back, it's a "mature" sound. I think the Greddy SE sounds pretty "mature" too. The Stillen cat-back sounds like a stock exhaust but louder. Your options of only Tanabe and HKS doesn't make sense unless you have a hard-on for spending $$$

Even if you already have mufflers , this set up I's more than Fast Int and MXP which I think is not worth it for this price! you are in Fast int and MXP price range that will probably be a better choice overall, this set-up follows the same path as factory exhaust where other two are True dual w H pipe (mxp) and X pipe (FI) . Would love yo gear how it sounds but can't be much better than the other 2 I mentioned above.

Lou is about 15 miles from Tanabe and has a great relationship with them. From what I've been told he already has the full exhaust set up at his shop. The sound/power are great, I love mine.. it's settled for a few months so I'm sure this is how it will remain. If anyone is going to his BBQ i'll let you hear it.

Can you comment more on the full system combined w tanabe y pipe and tanabe mid pipe? Any video on this , i k ow just mufflers alone sound fantastic but how much more sound will the rest give? Performance I'm not interested in but if it adds power great , how's the sound ? I going crazy wanting to here the whole system. At least pics would be great. I didn't like how the mufflers still show the stock rusted mid pipe .

Well.... I don't have a good audio camera or I'd post it. Their are videos of my car on Tanabe's site if you'd like to hear it. I'll see if I can bum a sound clip off someone at Lou's BBQ. The sound got a little louder but not raspy, I honestly think it sounds great. I really wish I can do a before and after comment, but I think the best representation would be to go to Tanabes site and check the axleback sound clip and see how it compares to yours, then check the full exhuast video then you can compare until this weekend when I can get a good sound clip.
The only difference in the two videos is the y pipe and mid pipe, I dont have any test pipes, intakes, pulleys, tune etc... so it is exactly how it will sound on a stock car.

I saw the vid on Tanabe USA , on dyno it sounds very good , any comment on sound compared to fast intentions? I'm debating on swapping for tanabe full catback but have not heard anything to help my decision ! Any video would be great , maby at least just a Rear Shot I really want to see mufflers w mid pipe and how it sits. So adding mid pipe and y pipe def added sound am I right?

Yes it will add sound... I can take a picture for you, but I think my diffuser will get in the way... I'll try to get "under" the car as best as I can. And honestly to answer you I haven't heard F.I.'s exhaust, but I know they have some cool features like the CF mufflers... maybe i'll be lucky enough to hear one this weekend.

I have the CF fast intentions w New X pipe system that is awesome but I keep hearing the tanabe mufflers one on you tube and yesterday in person and it's a smoothe tone , I liked it but wonder how much better it would be w the full system, if worth it I may sell FI CF and go for Tanabe Full CBE, I also heard MXP yesterday but still I liked the appearance of Tanabe , this was the missing link on these sexy mufflers and now it's here . Pics would be great man. Let's see it.
