New G37 What to buy intake and exhaust

Just purchased a 08g37s. Im looking to put on a intake and exhaust right away. What do the general g37 member recommened for intake and exhaust. I was thinking injen sir short air intake and a stillen exhaust. Or should i got with a cold air stillen intake? Im trying to mod it cost effectivley. Autoanything has the Injen short air intake for $315.00 shipped (with rebate). Is this a good price?

Isn't this question what this forum is precisely for? I think you should look around the forum and research a bit and pick the set up that YOU want instead of what everyone else is recommending.

reason why im asking for recomendations is i was a long time acura member, new to infinity. I like to get the right products the first time rather than testing the waters on a $500 intake or $1,000 exhaust. Member feedback is the best advice. I did some searches but am undecided so some feedback would be great.

  • The short ram intakes (SRI) such as injen are not good, general thought is that they rob low-end power or don't do anthing for power.
  • Stillen exhaust is pretty low on a lot of people's list, something to do with it coming out first and never catching up after that.
  • The cold air (CAI) stillen intake is highly recommended, but will cost more like anything else that is good.
Do some more research and present a limited list of choices for members to comment on. That's gonna get you better feedback than just saying "pick an exhaust for me". There are preferences that you need to set before asking for help, such as if performance or sound or looks (or price) are most important in selecting an exhaust. Same for an intake. Help us by giving us your wants and preferences, before we can help you. And research your questions with the search icon, then read, read, read.

You're simply enlarge an already existing hole in the composite front core support.. it's minor trimming, and has been done by hundreds of G owners with no issues, even for those returning to stock.

For an exhaust, I love my Invidia Gemini. Perfect for me.
