Muffler Delete???

As I said in a previous thread I drilled my G, now has anyone taken out the Mufflers? I feel like it wouldn't sad too bad... I was looking at the Injen Mufflers and they seem as if they provide very littler resonance, I wonder what the car would sound like without anything...

I tried it. Had tubes with tips built, still have them. But took them off as soon as I got home. Really loud. Sounds good but very loud at WOT.

Wait... so don't do it? its for the sedan, meaning It'll be a bit less noisy... I would be interested in buying your pipes if they fit the sedan... I'm goin to take off the muffler and see how it sounds, but if it sounds good I'll be very interested...

I had mine removed on my 07 sedan for a while. When your stock exhaust is fully broken in, you won't get much raspy note. The exhaust tone gets super loud around 3600-4000 rpm and dies down after 5000. It did sound pretty good on mine.

oh and jjn07, I hate that you can live in Dubai, I went for vacation a couple of weeks ago and was mystified!!! I loved it, the architecture, the street races, the 5-series BMW cops, and of course the Burj al Arab! i just wish the Burj Khalifa would have been open

Contact G35Robby on this forum. I think he had this setup before his invidia on the sedan.
