Just picked up my Tanabe today. Will get it on sometime this week. I guess you know which one I'd pick!

How about ARK? https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...-promised.html

^ it's a cat-back system tho.. should be released in few months
If you can't wait, have you looked at the Invidia Gemini or FI? Those are also great options if you are looking for a catback system.

Why go with axle-back when there are catback options available for a lil bit more $$$?

I've seen the HKS also... looks good. but I'd go with tanabe cause it's more subtle for me and better for my city driving.

I was seriously considering the Invidia, but I saw some vids with serious vibration/rasp. Then again, I saw another vid where there was no rasp. But the thought of vibration/rasp kind of put me off. For those just looking for a sound mod, Tanabe works well.

Go with the Invidia Gemini and not the Q300. There are 2 versions and the Gemini is the revised one with the new x-pipe IIRC. I haven't heard it in person, but supposedly there is no drone or rasp with the Gemini.

I've heard the FI in person has zero rasp or drone. But pretty pricey if you ask me. I also love the sound & the design of the true dual set up on the ARK.

I don't really wan to get a cat back. I want some sound but not too loud. Plus i don't wanna put too much $$$ on it.

Would the HKS look odd? Does anyone have picture?

^ I hate how on the HKS, the tips stick out way too much. The canister style mufflers look pretty out of place on the sedan too IMO. If I were to get an axle back, I'd go w/ the Tanabe.

of the two you are debating between....tanabe hands down. HKS are kitten cannons...they look out of place. I have the tanabes and the tips are huge and I no longer notice the exhaust

im with everyone else though, go FI catback.

Just had the Tanabe put on my sedan. Sounds good. Honestly, not loud at all. After the install, I started the car and couldn't really tell a difference at all. After driving for a while, it sounds good.

It is louder than stock, but not in your face loud. Just deeper in tone. No one will mistake your G for a civic. In comparison, my 04 coupe sounded way louder. I do wish it was a tad bit louder, but overall I'm very pleased. Went on really easily, no fitment issues. I think one of my pipes hangs a little lower, but not a big deal. I'll try to get a pic up for you sedan guys.
