I'm planning on getting a FI exhaust...which test pipes should i get with them? I have JWT Pop and also haven't started shopping for headers yet.

Wait on the header videos now should be coming in a week max, decide from there

I would stay away from Non resonated test pipes at all costs

Ya i read through your posts...definately no non res pipes. I just wasn't too sure on the brand for the res pipes. I figure headers i can wait a little bit on.

Fast int for headers , and def their RES test pipes ... Y not have everything fast int... Tony will provide excellent customer service especially if you ever need a replacement part and warranty everything and you deal with him direct. As far as exhaust I will never go with anyone else Fast int all the way... Yah wait for Long tube vids I am if I don't like I go with res test pipes.

LTH are going to be crazy loud, especially if they are not resonated.

BLK please don't confuse the OP.. you can't get both the FI long tube headers and test pipes..

It's one of them only! The headers replace the OEM cats too.. since the tubes are long

It's really hard to resonate curled pipes and I believe there's very little space in there to fit resonators in.

Tony did say that they've sounded exotic.. so let's wait and see, he is known to be a man of his word though even if it would hurt his sale

I am not saying they won't sound good. I am sure it will sound great. I am just saying, no resonators will be really loud. You say the non-res tps were bad. LTH will be even louder.

Not what I meant Sam sorry !!! Yah long tubes will elimanate use of test pipes !!! Or you can keep your stock header abd just add resonated test pipes. Either way is good long tubes more power and proly louder, keeping stock headers and adding res test pipes instead will probably sound just as good and you will have resonators. I will wait in vids to better judge long tubes for rasp or volume.

That would be the wise thing to do.

Ya, I definately was checking out the FI long tubes...but my car is registered in Ohio and we have emissions checks. I don't think they'd be very happy with me if I came in with those installed lol.

I'm not too sure of the actual specs...i've never failed one even with crappy cars. I'm sure its not as extreme as Cali is. Once there's more info and video on LTH I could do a little research and see if i could pass with them on. Cause if i can...I'm definately getting the LTH

in Ohio i don't have to do a check for 4 years if its a new car...and a WRX passed it with straight pipes. So i think i have good odds of passing with LTH installed. I'll just wait for news from FI then see whats best after that
