What to do?!?

Well I've had my magnaflow exhaust on for about a year. But now out of no where the flex pipe ripped open on the driver side!! Im not big into spending big bucks on exhaust sorry I just cant do it. So I was wondering what you guys things I should do about this. Is this an easy fix at an exhaust shop? Should I just try and buy a used invida exhaust maybe or should I buy a used g35 exhaust and have it custom fitted (the injen track edition perhaps)

Yes, it's an easy fix at an exhaust shop. All that needs to be done is to cut out the bad flex section and weld in a new one. It should be inexpensive too, under $100.

im not trying to be a an A$$#ole but one of the reasons I bought this car and not a GTR was because I was not sure if I could afford to fix it if anything went wrong with it... you may have to seriously question things when an exhaust problem is hard to provide for financially... just a thought...

Perhaps you misunderstood the OP's post. He said he had no desire to spend big bucks on an exhaust system so he bought the Magnaflow which is afford ably priced. He never said he can't afford to fix it or that it would be difficult for him financially, he asked what his options were, repair or purchasing a different inexpensive used system.

EXACTLY thank you BB! and also that doesnt sound to bad I guess I'll be heading over to the exhaust shop tomorrow. Also yeah Sam I rarely never bottom out my last car was extremely low, so I take bumps very slowly and watch out for huge pot holes out of habit! Even when I was looking under my car I didnt see a scratch at all on my whole exhaust system so I have no idea what cause it.
